We all know that we need to take steps to optimize the care of our skin if we are to keep it fresh, clean, and moisturized. Know Your Skin Type. The skin types consist of oily, dry, normal, combination, and sensitive. Dry skin feels taut and itchy after cleansing. Oily skin feels greasy and heavy, and is prone to acne and blemishes. Combination skin is characterized by both dry and oily areas. Folks with combination skin will often experience an oily “T-Zone” (forehead, nose, and chin), along with dry patches on the cheeks.
